Civil rights are generally regarded as those rights that are guaranteed by the Bill of Rights and the 13th and 14th Amendments to the Constitution. While it’s stated that these rights may be “guaranteed,” there are many times when these “guarantees” may be violated by other individuals or organizations.
Our firm has experience in representing individuals whose civil rights have been violated based upon their color, race, religion, sex, or national origin. Our Title VII experience includes employment discrimination cases, as well as housing discrimination issues. We have also represented individuals affected by the Americans with Disabilities Act, as well as discrimination based upon sexual preference.
